Fear turns happiness about something you possess into the fear of losing it. Therefore, it’s hard to keep enjoying it. It gets even worse when everything is done to prevent the thing feared, because all too often this is when the fear becomes reality. 

 

The property of this piece of art is to be seen, but it’s afraid to lose it and decides to hide itself. This makes an artwork being an artwork irrelevant, it does not fulfill its purpose. But because the artwork hides itself, it attracts attention and the fear becomes a reality.
