Beeldentuin Ravesteyn

Exhibition Sculpture Garden Ravensteijn
20-05-2022
From May 20 through June 12, 2025, visitors can have a special experience at Ravesteyn Sculpture Garden, located in picturesque Heenvliet, South Holland. Jelle Korevaar is showing his work Hope (2021) in a unique location this year: in the dungeon of the old castle ruins that surround the garden. Previously this work could be found in a well, but in this exhibition Hope has found its new place in the dungeon, which adds an intriguing atmosphere to the experience.
Sculpture Garden Ravesteyn is an annual event that exhibits contemporary art in a variety of styles, materials and forms. The location is breathtaking: the historic castle ruins are surrounded by a picturesque landscape, including a moat, an English garden, foliage corridor, pond garden, woodland paths, sheep pastures and a star forest. This romantic setting provides the ideal stage for works of art by both Dutch and international artists.
The event not only has a cultural and artistic character, but also contributes to the preservation of Heenvliet's historical heritage. Every year, artists bring their work to this special place, where history and modern art come together in a special way.
