From 13 May to 17 June 2023, the historic centre of Dordrecht will be the setting for the special art route Beeldenstorm. During this period, visitors can have a unique experience at kinetic artist Jelle Korevaar's major solo exhibition.

His interactive works, which communicate with both the environment and the public, offer a fresh perspective on social mechanisms and pose questions to both the church and society. The route, which combines art and public space, leads walkers past various locations in the city. Korevar's ingenious kinetic machines, which blur the line between art and technology, were on prominent sites such as the Grote Kerk and the Kunstkerk. Works could also be admired in the City Library, the gardens of the Dordrecht Museum and at Bluebirds in the Backyard restaurant.

Kunstroute Beeldenstorm is an initiative of the Doorkruist foundation and aims to enrich the city with art that not only visually, but also conceptually invites interaction and reflection.
