Solo Albeda Jelgersma Gallery

Solo Exhibition ‘Reuring’ by Jelle Korevaar at Albeda Jelgersma Gallery
04-12-2021
From 4 December 2021 to 29 January 2022, Jelle Korevaar's first solo exhibition can be seen at Albeda Jelgersma Gallery in Amsterdam. The exhibition, titled Reuring, offers a unique opportunity to experience the young artist's complex, kinetic artworks. Korevaar, who is known for his moving machines that reflect human emotions, beliefs and social constructions, shows his latest work in this exhibition.
His installations are more than mere art objects; they consist of carefully composed components that move in symbiosis, produce sounds and consume energy, contributing to the deeper meaning of each piece. The exhibition is a moment to witness the interactivity and time-intensive nature of Korevar's work, where every movement tells a story about the human experience.
The gallery is open Wednesday to Saturday from 1pm to 5pm. There is no need to make an appointment to visit.
Jelle Korevaar (born 1989) lives and works in Sliedrecht and is a recent graduate of Artez, Arnhem. He has recently exhibited at major events such as Art in the Holy Triangle (Oosterhout, 2021), Art and Welfare (Salvation Army, Rotterdam, 2021) and Populism (Museum Gouda, 2019).
